What is Stamped Concrete?

Imagine combining the durability and strength of concrete with the look and feel of your favorite material. That is precisely what we can do with concrete. But how do we do it?

Once we pour the concrete, we can imprint a molded image into the surface as it dries. The image can be pre-fabricated or we can create it on the spot. We can also add color to the imprint to give it depth and character. Colors and shades also add to the authenticity of the image. Once the image dries, it takes on the characteristics of the material that you had in mind.

You can choose any pattern you want the concrete to look like:

  • Wood
  • Stone
  • Brick
  • Cobblestone
  • Pavers
  • Slate
  • Tile
  • And more…

Once the concrete completely dries and cures, you are left with an amazing design that includes patterns, textures, colors, or anything else that you added. Below are some examples of what we can do; please visit our Gallery to see more!

Why Use Stamped Concrete Instead of the Real Thing?

This is a question that home and business owners ask often. The answer is simple: other types of materials, such as stone, brick, pavers, and, of course, seashells, suffer from the following issues:

  • Grass and weeds can grow through the sections or through the material.
  • The other materials listed are not durable enough. Concrete lasts 25+ years.
  • Concrete creates a seamless, smooth surface. Tiles, pavers, and cobblestone have to be pieced together.
  • Some materials, such as wood, do not have the durability to handle high traffic areas or outside elements.
  • For you to achieve the design you want with other materials, you may pay two to three times more for your surface.

Therefore, the best way to get the look you want with all the benefits of your favorite materials is to incorporate a stamped concrete design into your surface.
